When Did Executive Producer Daniel Efram Get Involved with The Elephant 6 Movie (2023)?

Manager of The Apples in stereo, Daniel Efram returns to Soundtrack Your Life to talk to Nicole and Ryan about Chad Stockfleth’s recently released and extremely well received Elephant 6 Movie, which Daniel was involved with as an executive producer.

While the film doesn’t technically have a soundtrack, we talk about many of the great artists that make up the Elephant 6 Recording Company such as The Apples in stereo, Neutral Milk Hotel, Olivia Tremor Control, The Music Tapes, Elf Power and more! Daniel also shines a light on the many great folks who helped put this amazing documentary together.

Daniel was previously a guest on our Grosse Pointe Blank episode where we also talked about The Steve Keene Artbook that Daniel curated.

Ryan has a degree in Film Studies, and he’s a musician. So, Soundtrack Your Life is the perfect intersection of his two main passions. Plus, he’s an avid music fan—hunting down rare songs from his favorite bands has familiarized him with many obscure soundtracks over the years. It's been so gratifying for him to hear fellow film and music enthusiasts share their stories of why they love soundtracks!
